Our patients are at the heart of what we do. We take a relational approach to care, ensuring every person gets the support they need to live healthier.
North Central Family Medicine began in 1989 in Rock Hill, SC , as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and began receiving federal funding in 1991. Our current CEO, Ernest G. Brown, MPH, was hired in February of 1992, and the staff saw their first patient in June of the same year.
In 1999, North Central received a federal capital improvement grant, which allowed us to move to our facility at 1131 Saluda Street, where we provide primary medical care for approximately 10,000 residents. Using a sliding fee scale approved by the Bureau of Primary Health Care, we’re able to offer service to all residents, regardless of their ability to pay — because we believe that everyone deserves access to personalized healthcare.
